Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) detectives are investigating a homicide that happened on March 20.
At around 7:44 p.m., officers responded to the unit block of Madison Street, NE for the report of a shooting. There, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The other, 21 year-old Demetris Johnson, was pronounced dead on scene.
