The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced the arrest of 18-year-old Andre Chillous, who is alleged to have been involved in a fatal shooting on Aug 1, 2024, in Northeast D.C. The incident resulted in the death of 14-year-old David Bailey and left 1 surviving victim with non-life-threatening injuries. Chillous, who was a juvenile at the time of the offense, has been charged with First Degree Murder While Armed (Premeditated).
