Megan Chopra is a rising junior at Sidwell Friends High School in Washington, DC. She is a passionate advocate for criminal justice and reentry reform, as well as an editor and contributor to several local publications.
After high school, Megan hopes to pursue a degree in sociology and then attend law school to become a public defender. At D.C. Witness, she hopes to gain experience working in journalism and assist in increasing the transparency of DC’s criminal justice system.
