The Metropolitan Police Department’s (MPD) Homicide Branch is seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation of a homicide that occurred on July 5 on the 600 block of Alumni Lane, NE by the Catholic University of America.
According to MPD documents, officers responded to the location for the report of a shooting, and located an adult male shooting victim. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The victim was identified as 25-year-old Maxwell Emerson.
