The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is seeking a suspect who shot a man on the 3500 block of Ames Street, NE on Dec. 9.
According to MPD documents, the suspect approached the victim at the location, brandished a handgun, and shot the victim before fleeing the scene.
The suspect was captured by surveillance footage and can be seen in the video below.
Anyone who can identify the suspect or who has knowledge of the incident should take no action but call police.
