The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced an update regarding their search for a suspect involved in an armed carjacking in Northwest, DC. On Sep. 17, a suspect approached a victim near their parked moped on the Unit block of Banner Lane, produced a firearm, and fled with the moped. Surveillance footage of the suspect has been released to aid in identification.
