The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced the arrest of a 15-year-old juvenile male for an armed carjacking that occurred on Sep. 19 on the 500 block of 48th Place, NE. The suspect allegedly approached the victim with a handgun, forced them to exit their vehicle, and fled the scene in the stolen car, which was later recovered. The juvenile has been charged with Armed Carjacking (Gun).
