The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced they are searching for a suspect involved in an armed carjacking that took place on Dec 22 in the 1700 block of 4th Street, Northwest. The suspect, who brandished a handgun, demanded and took the victim’s car keys before fleeing in the vehicle. Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect, and the MPD is seeking public assistance in identifying them.
