The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced the arrest of a 17-year-old juvenile female from Northeast, DC, for an unarmed carjacking that occurred on Nov. 1 on the 2500 block of Georgia Avenue, NW. The suspects assaulted the victim and stole their vehicle, which was later recovered. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at a local hospital.
