The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced they are investigating a carjacking incident that occurred on Dec. 30 on the 1500 block of Maryland Avenue, NE. A suspect attacked the victim, forcing him off his moped before fleeing the scene. The suspect and the stolen moped were captured on surveillance cameras.
