The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced an arrest in the fatal shooting of 14-year-old Myron Smith in Southwest on Jan. 26. The incident occurred during a robbery involving a stolen White Kia Optima. A 14-year-old male from Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Felony Murder and Carrying a Pistol Without a License, while two 16-year-old males were charged with Carrying a Pistol Without a License.
