The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced an arrest in a 2024 homicide case. On Dec. 30, officers found 31-year-old Damion Hill deceased from gunshot wounds on the 1800 block of Benning Road, Northeast. On Mar. 11, Caleb Padilla, 19, was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder While Armed.
