The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced the arrest of 70-year-old George Mudd in connection with a 1999 homicide. On May 21, 1999, Susan Cvengros, 24, was found fatally stabbed in the 400 block of F Street, NE. Mudd has been charged with first-degree premeditated murder while armed.
