The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced they are investigating a shooting that occurred on June 22 at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and Mellon Street, SE. An adult male and a 16-year-old juvenile male were found with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and were transported to hospitals. The suspect, captured on surveillance, remains unidentified, and the MPD is seeking the community’s assistance in identifying them.
