The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced the arrest of 43-year-old Aaren Striplin in connection with a stabbing incident on July 4 in the 900 block of G Street, NW. The victim, an adult male, was found with stab wounds and pepper spray injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Striplin, who had no fixed address, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon after being found with the knife and pepper spray used in the attack.
