The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced they are seeking assistance in identifying persons of interest and a vehicle involved in a fatal motorcycle crash on Southern Ave, SE, on July 20. The crash involved a 2004 Suzuki motorcycle and a fleeing 2003 Ford F-150 pickup truck. The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Billy Earl Canty.
