A DC Superior Court judge ordered the release of an arson defendant April 15 in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jaslin Flowers, 30, is charged with arson for her alleged role in attempting to burn down a rental apartment on the 3100 block of 16th St., NW, on January 6, 2020.
DC Superior Court Judge Anita Josey-Herring granted Flower’s release.
Flowers is to be released into the High Intensity Supervision Program unless medical professionals determine further quarantine due to COVID-19 is necessary.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled to occur on June 18.
