Crime Alerts April 20-21

Between the hours of 8 p.m. on April 20 and 8 a.m. on April 21 there were four crime alerts dispatched out by the Metropolitan Police Department.

The latest crime alert came at 3:07 a.m.for an armed robbery at 16th Street and Good Hope Road, SE. Police are looking for a black male 20 years old with a low hair cut wearing a white hoodie with red writing on it. Police stopped a man that fits the description who was last seen near a 7-11 convenience store on 14th Street, SE.

An alert came out at 11:16 p.m. for a shooting on the 3300 block of 14th Place, SE. Police did not issue a look out for this crime.

Nearly an hour before the shooting alert another alert went out at 10:23 p.m. for a robbery on the 1200 block of Evarts Street, NE. Police are looking for two black males. The first one is described as wearing all black clothing and armed with a handgun. The second suspect is wearing a light blue hoodie and blue jeans. Both men are reportedly wearing masks.

A shooting alert went out at 9:42 p.m. The shooting took place on the 1600 block of Good Hope Road SE. Police are looking for a black 4-door Infinity, tinted out tail lights, partial license plate — “1 D”. The car was last seen on Randal Circle.
