A DC Superior Court judge released a defendant on May 21.
Michael Dudley is charged with simple assault, failure to register as a sex offender and destruction of property less than $1,000.
Judge Todd Edelman released Dudley on May 21 under the High Intensity Supervision Program (HISP).
D.C. Witness previously reported that pretrial services could not verify the address he would be living at after his release during a hearing on May 15. On May 6, Dudley didn’t qualify for release because an arrest warrant was not served.
Dudley filed an emergency motion for release on April 30.
A status hearing is scheduled for Aug. 20.
