The Metropolitan Police Department announced May 9 that a 17-year-old juvenile was arrested for an unarmed carjacking.
According to a press release, Three suspects attempted to pull a female victim from her car on the 5700 block of Georgia Avenue, NW. The suspects fled when a bystander approached.
One of the suspects was apprehended. Police are looking for two other suspects.
Anyone who can identify the individuals or who has knowledge of the incident should call 202-727-9099 or text the Department’s Text Tip Line –50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
