Felon Assaults Brother’s Fiancée, Gets 2.5 Years in Prison

On May 19, a DC Superior Court judge sentenced a convicted felon to 2.5 years in prison for assaulting his brother’s fiancée.

Eric Limes pleaded guilty to assault with significant injury and attempted kidnapping on Feb. 10.

Judge Rainey Brandt also ordered that Limes serve four years under supervised release after his prison sentence and pay $100 to a fund for the victims of violent crime.

According to court documents, Limes assaulted his brother’s fiancée, cutting her hand, causing facial trauma and requiring her to go to the hospital.
