Judge Continues Hearing to Give Defense More Time

Judge Juliet McKenna decided May 26 to continue a hearing so a defendant could decide if he wanted to accept a plea offer.

Alphonso Johnson is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon firearm.

A felony status conference is scheduled for June 23.
