The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a traffic fatality that occurred at the intersection of New York Avenue and Fairview Avenue, NE.
According to a press release, 28-year-old Charles Lamar Keeve, who was operating a motorcycle, was travelling at a high rate of speed when he struck another vehicle minutes after midnight on May 29.
Keeve, a resident of La Plata, Md., died on the scene.
The department asks that anyone with information about the incident call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text a tip to the Department’s Text Tip Line — 50411.
