DC Superior Court Judge Juliet McKenna told the prosecution to find out if the DC Jail could treat a defendant’s medical needs. She continued the hearing to give them time to fulfill her request.
Douglas Maiden is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon gun and assault on a police officer while armed.
His presentment is now scheduled to occur on June 3.
