On June 5, detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department and Special Agents from the FBI’s Washington Field Office arrested a woman who is suspected of distributing child pornography.
According to a press release, between April 4 and June 5, the 29-year-old suspect distributed media files via social media containing child pornography and arranged to travel across state lines with the intent to engage in a sexual encounter with a minor.
The suspect’s initial hearing at the DC Superior Courthouse was on June 6. Another hearing date has not been scheduled as of June 8.
