Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officers are looking for suspects and vehicles connected with crimes throughout Washington, DC from March 9-July 30.
Police are searching for suspects and vehicles in connection to the following crimes:
Homicide
The police are requesting the public’s help in identifying suspects connected to a homicide on July 17. According to a press release, officers went to Eastern Avenue and Walnut Street, NW to help Takoma Park Police with a traffic accident. They found two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds in a car at the 100 block of Walnut Street, NW. One victim, Anthony Riley, passed away and the other victim was treated in the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms Washington Field Division, MPD, and the FBI Washington Field Office are offering $55,000 in reward money for information that will lead to arrest and conviction of 25-year-old Marcel Gordon. He is wanted in connection to 11-year-old Davon McNeal’s homicide on July 4 on the 1400 block of Cedar Street, SE. The U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force has offered up to $10,000 for information that will result in an arrest.
Police are also seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in the shooting death of 41-year-old Alkhenala Al-Fatah on the 1200 block of Barnaby Terrace, SE on March 9.
Assault
A dark blue Nissan vehicle is being sought in connection to an assault with a dangerous weapon (gun) offense on the 2700 block of 14th Street, NW. When officers responded to the scene on July 28, they found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were treated at a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding the suspect responsible for a stabbing on July 26 at the 1300 block of Half Street, SW. The victim was treated at a hospital for life threatening injuries.
On July 25, two suspects tried to take a victim’s property that resulted in a suspect shooting a victim at the 600 block of Division Avenue, NE. The suspect was treated at a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Officers responded to the 4500 block of Dix Street, NE to a report of gunshots on July 25. An adult male victim was found suffering from gunshot wounds. He was brought to a local hospital for treatment.
On July 25, a suspect assaulted two store workers after taking property from a store at the 3700 block of Minnesota Avenue, NE. The suspects tried to stab the workers with a knife, which resulted minor injuries.
A suspect is being sought for throwing bricks at police officers on the 1600 block of H Street, NW on May 31.
Robbery
A White Hyundai SUV is being sought for two robbery offenses at the 500 block of Mississippi Avenue, SE and the 3900 block of South Capitol Street, SE on July 29.
On July 28, suspects took money by gunpoint from a victim at the 1300 block of Connecticut Avenue, NW. Victims fled the scene in a car.
A suspect demanded a victim’s items by knifepoint and stole it on the 600 block of Irving Street, NW on July 27.
Officers are seeking three suspects and a vehicle involved in an armed robbery on the 7400 block of 7th Street, NW on July 25. The suspects stole property from a victim by gunpoint and then fled the scene in a vehicle.
Police are looking for three suspects and a vehicle in connection to an armed robbery on the 3400 block of 14th Street, NW on July 25. The suspects took property by gunpoint from the victim and business and then left the scene in a vehicle.
On July 25, a suspect took property from a victim and gunpoint and two suspects assaulted the victim on the 6600 block of Piney Branch Road, NW. All suspects left the area in a vehicle.
Police are also requesting the public’s help in an additional suspect involved in a robbery by force on July 24 on the 600 block of H Street, NW. The suspects allegedly assaulted a victim and took their property.
The MPD is searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery on the 2500 block of Benning Road, NE on June 30. The suspects stole money by gunpoint from a store worker.
Police are searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery on the 400 block of H Street, NE on June 27. The suspect allegedly assaulted a victim and then took their property at knifepoint.

Burglary
Officers are looking for a suspect in connection to a burglary offense on the 3800 block of 12th Street, NE. Allegedly the suspect tried to take money from a register and failed on July 30.
On July 25, suspects allegedly entered a residence and stole items from the 4800 block of U Street, NW.
A suspect in connection with a burglary on the 1400 block of North Capitol Street, NW on July 25 is being sought. The suspect allegedly entered an establishment and stole property.
A suspect forced entry into an establishment and left with stolen property on the 1600 block of 17th Street, NW on July 24.
A suspect took property from an establishment on the 500 block of H Street, NE on July 24.
On July 11, a suspect took property from a construction site on the 4100 block of Kansas Avenue, NW.
Theft from Auto
On July 28, a suspect in a White Mercedes Benz ML350 SUV with a Virginia tag of UMK9160, entered a victim’s car and stole the victim’s 8-year-old Yorkie mix dog named “Lyric” at the 6500 Block of Georgia Avenue, NW.
Armed Carjacking
On July 28, suspects demanded a victim to leave their car at the 100 block of Pierce Street, NW. One suspect pointed a firearm at the victim.
Police are searching for a suspect connected to an armed carjacking (knife) offense that occurred July 27 on the 600 block of Columbia Road, NW. The suspect demanded the victim’s vehicle by knifepoint and was unsuccessful.
