The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) have arrested a suspect for assault with a dangerous weapon.
At around 6:46 p.m. on Aug. 18, a suspect allegedly approached a victim on the 1000 block of 4th Street, SW and stabbed them. The suspect fled the scene, but was apprehended and arrested by responding officers.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to a press release.
