Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) detectives seek the public’s assistance identifying and locating a suspect in reference to an attempted armed bank robbery.
At around 10:06 a.m. on Dec. 5, the suspect entered a SunTrust Bank on the 1300 block of Connecticut Avenue, NW. The suspect brandished a knife while demanding money from the bank teller, according to a press release. The teller did not comply and the suspect fled the scene without obtaining any property.
The suspect was captured by a surveillance camera.
