Murder Defendant Counter Offers Plea Deal from Prosecution

A murder defendant’s attorney counter offered a plea deal. Reginald Turner, 34, is charged with second-degree murder while armed with a firearm for his alleged role in the death of 37-year-old Malik Muhammed on the 800 block of Taylor Street, NE on Nov. 26, 2018. At a status conference on Nov. 8 Turner’s defense counsel, James King, told the court that they were negotiating a plea deal.
