A teenage boy was fatally shot on Dec. 18, 2017.
James Anthony Smith was found unconscious and unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds on the 1900 block of Frederick Douglass Court, SE. Smith, 17, was transported to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead by medical personnel.
The Metropolitan Police Department has not named any suspects.
