Police say a woman was fatally stabbed Sunday night in the 1400 block of W Street, NW.
A little before 6 p.m. Waliyatou Amadou, 23, was found unconscious and suffering from stab wounds in a hallway. Amadou was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police did not release many details Monday and have not yet released any suspect information.
