The man charged with the murder of Terry Crutchfield was ordered held without bail today until his preliminary hearing next month.
Police on Tuesday charged Clinton Womack with first-degree murder while armed for the alleged murder of Crutchfield earlier this month. Womack was arraigned on the charge in D.C. Superior Court Wednesday where Judge Renee Raymond ordered him held.
Womack was assigned a public defender and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 9.
According to police, Womack fatally shot Crutchfield inside a home at 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 6. Responding officers found Crutchfield dead at the scene in the 1500 block of Olive St. NE.
