Ten weeks after Andre Antwon McConnell was shot and killed, his murderer was arrested.
McConnell, 26, was shot on April 27 at the 3100 block of Buena Vista Terrace, SE along with another adult male. Both victims were taken to the hospital where McConnell later died.
On Thursday, Police arrested Jamil Betts, 24, with second-degree murder while armed in the murder of McConnell. His preliminary trial is set for August 6 at 9:30 am.
