Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took the life of 24-year-old Derrick Black of Northwest.
According to police, Black was found by police on the night of July 30 in the 3300 block of Georgia Ave, NW suffering from gunshot wounds. Black was taken to the hospital where he later died.
