Tavon Maurice Patterson was fatally shot in Southeast Thursday night.
According to police, the 23-year-old was found with gunshot wounds on the 3200 block of 15th Place, SE at around 7:40 p.m. Thursday.
Patterson was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
