Tavon Maurice Davis was arrested and charged Friday for the alleged murder of Michael Vest.
The 22-year-old has been charged with second-degree murder while armed.
Vest was found last week suffering from blunt force trauma to the head in the 1300 block of Trinidad Ave., NE. Responding officers determined he was already dead by the time they arrived.
Davis is due to appear in court on July 10.
