Editors Note: The defendant in this case has since been acquitted on all counts.
Police are investigating the fatal shooting of 38-year-old Daniel Shelton Parker.
Parker was discovered by police around 11:19 p.m., on July 26, in the 2000 block of Fairlawn Ave. He was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC fire and EMS found no signs consistent with life and he was pronounced dead.
The police are still looking for suspects.
