Joseph Phill Smith was fatally shot on Thanksgiving day.
At approximately 7:07 p.m. on Thanksgiving, Smith was found by police unconscious with multiple gunshot wounds in the 2400 block of Elvans Road, SE. He was found with no signs consistent with life. Another victim was located with multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
No suspect information has been released.
