The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) released two crime alerts between 9:00 p.m. on June 20 and 9:00 a.m. on June 21.
A crime alert was sent out at 9:36 p.m. due to a robbery investigation on the 900 block of Valley Street, SE. Police are looking for a Black male wearing an orange shirt in a blue Dodge truck armed with a weapon.
A second crime alert was sent out at 5:45 a.m. for a robbery investigation in the 2300 block of Ainger Place, SE. Police are looking for two Black males. One is wearing a white tank top with black jeans while the other is wearing an all black sweatsuit and holding a handgun.
