Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officers are asking for the public’s help identifying and locating a suspect vehicle in connection with a triple homicide that occurred on Sept. 4.
According to a press release, at around 7:33 p.m. that day, officers responded to the 600 block of Longfellow Street, NW, for the sound of gunshots. There, they found multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Three victims: 31-year-old Donnetta Dyson, 24-year-old Keenan Braxton and 37-year-old Johnny Joyner were pronounced dead on scene.
Three adult male victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police describe the vehicle sought as a black Honda Accord sedan.
