On Oct. 5, a DC Superior Court judge scheduled a hearing to determine if a child sex abuse case has enough evidence to go to trial.
The defendant was charged with first-degree child sex abuse in a domestic violence case on Sept. 25. He is currently being held at DC Jail.
Judge Marisa Demeo scheduled a preliminary hearing for Nov. 17. The prosecution said they will extend a plea offer, which they plan to have available until Nov. 10.
