The defense and prosecution in a firearms case have agreed to a hearing to decide if there is enough evidence to go to trial. The hearing is scheduled for June 16.
Marcus J. Vines is charged with unlawfully possessing a firearm while having a prior felony conviction.
DC Superior Court Judge Neale E. Kravitz presided over the June 2 hearing on behalf of DC Superior Court Judge Julie H. Becker. The defendant’s presence was waived.
