On May 27, judges at the DC Superior Courthouse did not release any inmates.
One hearing was in relation to an emergency motion for release because of COVID-19.
Four hearings were also continued to another day.
Judge Rainey Brandt denied John Leach‘s second request for release because of COVID-19. He is charged robbery, first-degree theft and second-degree theft for stealing a man’s wallet on June 24, 2019.
