The Metropolitan Police Department sent out three crime alerts during the day on July 31.
The most recent alert was sent at 5:59 p.m. for a robbery with a gun on the 1700 block of Bladensburg Road, NE Police are looking for a green BMW. The suspect(s) are armed with a handgun.
At 12:23 p.m. police sent out an alert for another robbery with a gun at the corner of 23rd and Alabama Avenue, SE. Police are looking for two suspects. The first suspect is a black male, 35 years of age, 180 pounds with a dark complexion, wearing a black mask, blue shirt and blue pants. The second suspect is a black male 19-20 years of age with a dark complexion, wearing white shirt and black pants. The suspects were last seen running in the wooded area towards Alabama Ave. SE.
Another crime alert was sent at 11:52 a.m. for a robbery and snatch on the Unit block of Atlantic Street , SE. Police are looking for a black male who is 200 pounds and wearing black sweat pants and a white tank top. The suspect was last seen fleeing from the scene on foot towards 1st Street.
