The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) sent out four crime alerts between 9:00 p.m. on Sept. 15 and 9:00 a.m. on Sept. 16.

A crime alert was sent out at 9:16 p.m. due to a robbery investigation in the 5000 block of Astor Place, SE. Police identified the suspects as three masked individuals armed with a handgun.

A crime alert was sent out at 12:43 a.m. due to a stabbing in the 16:00 block of Maryland Avenue, NE. Police identified the suspect as a Black male with light complexion, no shirt, tattoos, pretty eyes and black clothing.

A crime alert was sent out at 2:25 a.m. due to a gun robbery in the 1800 block of Florida Avenue, NW. Police identified the suspects as four to five Black males in a silver sedan. One suspect was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and another was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.

A crime alert was sent out at 2:36 a.m. due to a gun robbery in the 1900 block of 19th Street, NW. Police identified the suspects as four to five Black males in a silver sedan. One suspect was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and another was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.
