DNA expert Catherine Nguyen testified in court regarding evidence found at the scene of the crime where Breond Keys was murdered.
Antwon Green is charged with second-degree murder while armed for allegedly murdering Keys on Oct. 10, 2014. Keys was found fatally shot on the 1400 block of Good Hope Road, SE. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Nguyen testified in court that Green’s DNA was found on two pieces of evidence — a pair of pants and a cartridge casing.
Nguyen said there was a 1 in a 820 trillion chance the DNA on the pair of pants belonged to anyone else, and there was a 1 in a 160 quadrillion chance the DNA on the cartridge casing belonged to anyone else.
“I would not expect to find this profile again,” she said.
Green is currently being held without bond.
