The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced they are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Feb. 2 in the 1400 block of Florida Avenue, NE. The victim, identified as 17-year-old Trey’zuan Charles, was initially hospitalized but later succumbed to his injuries on March 17. The incident has been ruled a homicide, and MPD is seeking information to aid in the investigation.
