The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) identified the victim of a Nov. 12 homicide 18 year-old Navaras Johnson, of Southwest, DC.
At around 7:25 p.m., officers responded to the 1400 block of Tobias Drive, SE for the report of a shooting. There, they found Johnson suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
