The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has made an additional arrest for an assault case that occurred on June 30.
At approximately 1:11 p.m., officers responded to the 4400 block of Benning Road, NE for the sound of gunshots.
Upon arrival, they discovered a vehicle damaged with gunshots, and investigation revealed that subjects exchanged gunfire, though no injuries were reported.
Previously, on July 24, police arrested a 25 year-old adult male.
Additionally, on Dec. 23, police arrested a 23 year-old and charged him with assault with a dangerous weapon (gun).
