Document: Arrest Made in a Homicide

Metropolitan Police Department made an arrest in connection to a homicide that occurred on Oct. 16, on the 2500 block of Pomeroy Road, SE.

According to a press release, at about 12:10 am, officers located 32-year-old Jamontate Brown suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

On Dec. 20, 26-year-old Aaron Murchison was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
